Booking - How It Works
Booking is done quarterly - Tattoo Requests are welcome all year round!
Starting January 2023, I will be more selective in the projects I take on. This is in no way personal - I just don't have the time to take on every project. I work with other very talented artists at Raven and Rose Studios, and if a client's project better suits the skill set and availability of another artist, I will happily recommend that artist. My preferred art styles are fine line, neo-traditional, and illustrative. I work in both color and black and gray. I love florals, critters, jewelry, and pop culture inspired pieces with an interest in taking on black and gray portraits. I am still accepting coverups on a case by case basis, and I am open to projects large and small. I do not do realism, color portraits, or bands.
I tattoo Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday from 1pm-6pm. My minimum is $200.
Tattoo Requests are answered once a week, but depending on volume it may take up to 2 weeks to receive a response. I ask that all clients PLEASE fill out the entire form succinctly and to the best of their ability, including reference images.
A response email will contain a time quote, price quote, and deposit quote. Once the quote has been agreed upon, clients are added to the booking list. 30 days prior to the start of the quarter, clients on the booking list will receive an email containing the link to my online calendar. To prevent overbooking, these emails are sent out over the course of 1 business week (Mon-Fri). Clients will have 24 hours to schedule appointments before the next group has access to the online calendar. If a client misses their 24 hour window or cannot find an appointment that works with their schedule, they are encouraged to let me know so I can put them at the top of the list for the next booking cycle. Once the appointment is made, I ask that clients refrain from making any substantial changes to the tattoo concept. This may change the time and price, and therefore may require rescheduling.
Once the calendar links go out, appointments book very quickly.
The booking site will take down all of the clients' information as well as the deposit. Clients will receive confirmation within 24 hours.
*Deposits are non-refundable*
I do not keep a cancellation list. An appointment may be rescheduled for a later date (see below), but I do not push up appointments.
I do not send out artwork prior to the appointment. A brief consultation is built in to each appointment to review the artwork and make any minor changes. I find this is easier than going back and forth via email. All of my work is digital, so any small changes can be made quickly and easily. I am a firm believer that while its important to trust your artist, collaboration and open communication is key.
Clients are welcome to bring one guest for moral support.
I DO NOT tattoo minors. Ever. Even with parental consent.
Sometimes the unexpected happens and appointments need to be rescheduled - and thats okay! I just ask that clients please let me know as soon as possible. If you are sick please stay home! An appointment may be rescheduled up to three times before the deposit is forfeit and a new deposit must be paid to reschedule again. If a client does not show up for an appointment with no notice, deposit is forfeit and I will not work with that client again.
